Revit elevation from level greyed out. Jan 10, 2018 · Hi. The Elevation from Level parameter is not editable when the element is placed on a non-vertical surface, such as when a receptacle is placed on a floor or a lighting fixture is placed on a ceiling. It would be nice to not have to do the math to set the elevation based off the "upper level" when the sink is actually over the "lower level". Does anyone know why this is and how to fix it?
